Who We are

We are engineers, scientists, nonprofit employees, city planners, aerospace employees, lawyers, programmers, and many other professionals from across all sectors and industries who have joined together in union. IFPTE - the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, AFL-CIO & CLC - is our labor union. It is a bottom-up, employee-based organization that gives professional and technical employees the collective power to raise wages, benefits, and working conditions. Our membership of 80,000 men and women strong are employed across the U.S. and Canada.
